DeSean Jackson has been in a lot of discussions because of his release. Chip Kelley thought it was the best for the organization because they don’t the negative attitude around.

The word on the street is that DeSean was involved in gangs and during the season his was robbed which was talked a lot about. DeSean is always finding trouble because he’s not liked on the field by other teams and teammates had enough as well.

Some people think the release was ridiculous because he’s the best receiver on the team and one of the best in the league. Some people agree because hes bringing other players down with his attitude and is a cancer to the team.

“I think it wasn’t a smart move because he is the best receiver on the team and the next best receiver is Riley Cooper who is only a average receiver,” said senior Brandon Alfonso.

When it comes to winning, many believe DeSean knows how to get it done and he does play hard so it will effect the competiveness attitude on the team.

“It wasn’t a bad move because he’s small to begin with and isn’t going to last that long physically wise anyway so either way he was going to be gone,” said Coach Greg Silvesti.

Jackson is one of the smallest receivers in the game and relies on his speed to keep up. But the downfall is that every piece of contact affects his physical ability, according to senior Brian Gazzara.

“He’s good and bring talent to the team, but he doesn’t fit the system. I believe in what the Eagles are doing and his attitude doesn’t belong. I would rather have a receiver that can run across the middle instead of running deep every time,” he said.

Losing Jackson  does open up the passing game a little bit more because he can’t run across the middle because of his size and always had to rely on the deep ball.

Philly fans never lose faith on their team and they believe in what the Coaches and players are doing. Losing DeSean isn’t the worst thing in the world and hopefully will benefit the team.
