Aaron Mull is this week’s athlete spotlight. Aaron is a 4-year varsity athlete for the track team and goes by the nickname Flash. We’re going to do a Q&A on Aaron’s success so far.
Q: What event’s do you specialize in and what drew you to do that?
A: “I did the 100, 200, and 400, I was more drawn to those events rather than distance because they were more explosive.”
Q: What challenges have you faced in your track career so far?
A: “I rolled my ankle last year around spring break, wasn’t that bad but was a roadblock, I had a couple hamstring injuries during this year’s indoor season as well.”
Q: Describe a memorable moment in your sport.
A: “Definitely the first dual meet of the season against Oakcrest and ACIT we never beat Oakcrest in school history.”
Q: How do you handle setbacks in your sport?
A: We have injuries as a team but having depth helps replace injured runners,
Q: What are your pregame rituals?
A: I listen to the same playlist, do the same warmups just try to stay as locked in as possible.”
