**Kendall Stansbury**

I am committing to St.Bonaventure University for women’s DI soccer.

What is your favorite memory of playing that sport?
My favorite memory of playing soccer is scoring the winning goal in the first round of playoffs junior year because it was my first and only playoff win in high school.

What are you looking forward to?
I am looking forward to making new friends and playing with different people in college.

How long have you been playing for?
I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old.

When you reflect on your experience playing, What are the most important takeaways?
The most important takeaway that I have learned playing soccer is that hard work can get you a long way and make you more successful.

What victory has meant the most?
The victory that has meant the most was my final regional game with my club team PDA to go to nationals.

What loss has taught you the most?
The loss that has taught me the most was my last high school game against Mainland because you never know when your season can end and it taught me to treat every game like it’s my last.

**Kenzie Edwards**

Where and for what are you committing for?
I committed to West Chester University to play DII softball as a pitcher.

What is your favorite memory of playing that sport?
My favorite memory is definitely the SJ Group III championship game my freshman year. I pitched the entire game and it was one of the best games I ever played. We won in the last inning, and that walk-off feeling has stuck with me forever. I remember all of the fans supporting us and the celebration when we won. I would do anything to go back to that year

What are you looking forward to?
I’m looking forward to playing in college and creating bonds with new teammates. I’m really excited and lucky to have another 4 years of competing in the sport I love.

How long have you been playing for?
I have been playing softball for about 10 years. since I was 7 years old. Even before that I played tee ball.

When you reflect on your experience playing, What are the most important takeaways?
The most important takeaways I’ve gotten from playing softball is that this game is more mental than anything else. Every single pitch you have to know what you’re going to do with the ball in various situations. You have to have the right mindset and confidence if you want to achieve the goals you have. I also learned that you could very well play your last game and not know it, so don’t take any moments for granted.

What victory has meant the most?
The victory that meant the most to me is also the SJ Group III championship win. Leading up to the playoffs, I became the starting varsity pitcher as a freshman, and that was my goal since I was in 7th grade. I used to dream of doing what I did, and I ended up pitching every game in the playoffs. The championship game meant so much to me, because I was given the opportunity to prove myself and lead in the game that everyone has dreamed of leading in. I took advantage of every moment, taking it all in, knowing all of my hard work had paid off and I had accomplished everything I wanted for that season.

What loss has taught you the most?
I don’t remember a specific loss that has taught me the most, but I learn from my mistakes, mentally and physically, in every loss. Some losses have shown me pitches that I need to work on, while some have taught me not to underestimate any opponent. Every loss has helped bring me to a victory, teaching me what it takes to come out on top.
