I graduated from Hammonton High School in 2001. I attended Philadelphia University in September of 2001. I quickly realized that Philly U was not the place for and transferred to Stockton College for the Spring semester. I graduated from Stockton College in May of 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Historical Studies. It was at this point that I knew I wanted to become a teacher. I was accepted into The College of New Jersey’s accelerated Masters of Education program and received my Master’s Degree of Secondary Education in July 2006. I got my first teaching job that same month. I had been substitute teaching at Hammonton High School and was lucky enough to be hired as a full-time teacher when a history position opened up.

When I’m not in school, I love to spend time with my four year old, Emmy. We play, go to the park, cuddle and watch movies. She is my whole world. I also love to cook. Pinterest is a recipe gold mine so I love to try new recipes.

If I were to die tomorrow, I would spend my last day on the beach with Emmy.

A lifelong dream of mine is to travel the world.

My biggest pet peeve is back seat drivers. And I hate the feel of chalk/nails on a chalkboard.

My celebrity crush is Ryan Reynolds. Not only handsome but funny as well.

One thing most people do not know about me is that I am an Avid reader.
