Sophomore sensation Ryan Figueroa wrestled last weekend in Region placing 3rd sending him to the State finals in AC next weekend. Figueroa is 36-6 on the season and, is still going strong into States. He will be wrestling 132 Friday through Sunday in AC for a state championship. He will be the first wrestler since Kellen Whitney to make it to states.

Ryan will be training all week getting ready for the state tournament this weekend. He will be trying to bring Hammonton first State champion wrestler. Ryan will be facing the top 32 wrestlers in the state in his weight class and hoping to keep impressing like he has been. Ryan only being a sophomore has proved a lot and will improve more over the years. He is one of Hammonton top wrestlers and will likely continue to be over the next 2 years.
