Ms. Green attended Paramus Catholic Regional and graduated as part of the class of 1984. She then went on to King’s College for her under grad and then moved on to Fordham University for her Graduates in 1988 and 1997 respectively. First she taught in Sicomac Elementary School from 1988 to 1989 as an In-class resource, and then in Colts Neck Public School from 2000 to 2003 as a school social worker and counselor. Ms. Green also worked at Clinic East Mountain School to work in a hospital setting all before coming to Hammonton High School this year as a social worker.

I was inspired to go into education because… there are many students who are bright and talented but struggle with traditional schooling. I wanted to help them see their gifts and succeed.

My least favorite thing about my job is… paperwork.

The thing I enjoy most about my job is… is working and talking with students.

My biggest fear is.. something bad or serious happening to my children.

One thing about me that would surprise most people is… I ran two marathons.

When I’m not in school you an find me… with my family, crabbing, fishing, playing sports or going to the beach.

One thing I learned after my first year at HHS is… I picked a great district to work in. Working with a great staff and student makes all the difference!
