Juniors Nicole Damico and Sava Evangelista are recipients of the 2021 Garibaldi Award, an award given by The Silvio Laccetti Foundation. It is given to high school juniors who have excelled in Italian Language/Cultural Studies and who, in other aspects of extracurricular activities have been an outstanding example of the Italian American legacy in the United States. The recipients each wrote a short essay.

Damico and Evangelista are enrolled in Honors Italian 3 with Ms. Maria Buono-Higgins.
