The Women’s Civic Club of Hammonton is proud to share details about The Prom Dress Project, an initiative aimed at providing dresses and accessories to prom goers throughout the Hammonton area. What started as a simple act of kindness in April 2006 has grown into a cherished community tradition, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to attend prom feeling confident and beautiful.

The Prom Dress Project offers a wide selection of dresses, all provided at no cost to the recipients. These dresses are generously donated by community members and local dress shops, with the collection growing each year thanks to the overwhelming support of our community.

The Prom Project seeks to enable all students to experience the magic of prom without the worry of financial constraints, providing prom attire to those who may not otherwise have access to it.”

The dresses and accessories can be found at the Kid’s Closet located at the Hammonton Woman’s Civic Club. Appointments are required; see the flier to contact either Cindi Craig or Sue Foganano. A parent or guardian must accompany all students.

More information (and some of the available) are on display in the HHS front lobby case.
