New Beginnings

New+Beginnings

A new beginning, is right around the corner for some including myself. Graduation is fast approaching and it’s time to say goodbye to old memories throughout my 12 crazy years of high school, and say hello to a bright and exciting future. As much as i can’t wait to graduate and move on to bigger and better things in life, I feel as if the actual day of graduation will be filled with a whole bunch of different types of emotion. These include happiness, excitement, nervousness, scared, and so much more. Graduation day is just going to be a big mess of emotions and scrambling to get everything done before i receive my diploma.

I don’t think it necessarily took me awhile to figure out what I wanted to do after high school and a career for the rest of my life. To be completely honest, i knew what I wanted to do since elementary school. Back in those day, i would always want to help the special needs teachers with their students. I just loved making them happy and seeing their faces light up with joy. I knew I was impacting their lives, even if it was in the littlest ways by even just saying “hi,” to all of them. That dream continued on into middle school, and even when I reached high school. Within the midst of my plans, i always decided that hair and makeup was another i wanted to do. I use to watch makeup tutorials in my free time, and I would use my sister and myself as a tester. Even with different hair styles. Eventually i started to get really good at it and 2017 is the year I bring my dreams to reality.

After graduation, I’m going to be working all summer trying to save as much money as I can. Then in the fall of 2017, i will be attending beauty school for the 600 hours that is required to receive my cosmetology license. After my 600 hours, in spring of 2018 i will attend ACCC for Early childhood for two years. In this process of going to school, and working i will be saving money to move to Florida with my boyfriend. When i get to florida i will transfer over to a university to finish my 3 years of college to get my teaching degree.

I’ve never been so excited for anything in my life, and i can not wait until I am able to do what I love on a daily bases. This summer and the upcoming years is my new beginning in life.
