It’s a wonderful time of year: a time to bond with friends, a time to have fun, and a time to reminisce.

It’s time for the senior trip to Florida.

On March 17, almost 200 teachers and students boarded the plane and headed to Orlando, Florida. Senior Trip is one of the most anticipated events for people before they even enter high school.  Students visited Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Universal, and Islands of Adventure.

Many people who went on the trip loved the experience and were able to enjoy the time they had in paradise. Many students believe senior trip was worth the wait and money.

Many seniors believe that it was a great time to have fun with friends.

“My friends and I were able to bond, and I was able to find out who my real friends are,” Kellen Whitney said. “Some people went off with their girlfriends, while my true friends stayed and enjoyed Disney with their bros.”

“It was great time to get closer to my friends and spend time with them,” Matt Parker explained.

Other students like Maryann Nowlan loved going with her friends because she always goes with her family and she was able to enjoy Disney in a different kind of way.

“I loved hanging out with my friends. I have done Disney numerous times with my family and it was nice to have a different experience with my friends,” she said.

Mr. Gary Joseph believes that the trip is a great time to see the students in a different kind of way.

“As a teacher, it was worth going on the trip because I got to experience time differently with students then I would at school,” he said.

Mrs. Stacey Peretti agreed it was a great experience.

“I was able to spend time with some of my favorite people,” she said.

Out of the five main parks visited, there were many rides that stuck out to students and teachers alike.

“The Hulk and Spiderman were the most fun for me,” Whitney said.

Heather Visco leaned towards Harry Potter World as her number one choice.

“Although I waited in line for over an hour, it was well worth the wait,” she said. “I went to Universal when I was little and this ride was not even there so it was cool to experience it.”

Rock’n Roller Coaster was a popular choice as favorite ride to students like Matt Parker and Heather Visco.

“I like Rock’n Roller Coaster the best because it was fast, suspenseful, exhilarating, and different then traditional roller coasters because it was inside,” said Parker.

Visco added,” I have been riding this ride since I was little and it never disappoints.”

The Tower of Terror was the highlight of many students’ trip.

“There was a tremendous group of people that went on the Tower of Terror together from our school and it made the experience special,” said Mrs. Peretti.

” When we went on the Tower of Terror, there were well over 100 students and teachers that rode the ride at the same time,” Joseph said. “It made the experience that much more exciting.”
