How TV in the past affects the present

When we are young the media plays a large role in who we become and how we act in the future. The things we watch shape our personalities in ways we don’t notice unless we reflect upon how they have affected us. Students from our high school have decided to look back to their younger days and see what ways their lives have been affected by T.V.

One such student is Dominick Tracy, a junior, who when he was younger watched the show Dirty Jobs, while reflecting he realized that this show had gave him his drive and appreciation for hard work and gave him his good work ethic. While on the other end of the tv genre spectrum a junior, Clarence Washington watched cartoons when he was younger which is what gave him his comedic affinity and made him into a sociable person. Josh Ieropoli, a senior, also decided to look back and he saw that watching anime in his past provided him with his can-do attitude where he believes he can do anything if he tries and to never give up even if the odds look impossible.

Each and every person who has watched TV has had it affect them in some small way whether its inspiration, motivation, or a direct impact to their personality. We should all reflect on our past and see how it affected who we are today and we shall see that TV has had a major role in our early lives.
