In your opinion, what is/are the most pressing issue(s) for HHS students this year?

In my opinion, the most pressing issue HHS students face this school year is time management. I believe this issue can be resolved by giving students a planner book to balance their work.

What is important about this year/grade (i.e. freshman year, sophomore year, junior year, senior year), and what role do you believe class officers have in making it a successful one?

This school year it is important to achieve growth in academics. According to Dr. Anna Wulick, Junior year is the most important school year to show off academic growth because it is the last full school year that colleges see.

What are some of the strengths of the HHS student community?

Some of the strengths of the HHS student community are perseverance, versatility, and determination. Many students are persistent in doing work despite difficulty or delay in success. Students in the community are able to adapt to many different functions and activities. Lastly, students in the community rarely fail to succeed.

What are some areas of the HHS experience that could be better?

Some areas of the HHS experience that could be better are the school lunches. Also sanitation could be better, in a few classes they were out of disinfectant wipes. Lastly, gym class could be better such as finding activities that are still sanitary.

What is the most important skill for this position? I believe my best skill in running for Vice President is my leadership skills. I’m well at getting my peers to work well together, have a deep understanding of learning, and build the capacity of everyone around me. My leadership skills can also help advise new ideas to solve issues in the Junior class.
