In your opinion, what is/are the most pressing issue(s) for HHS students this year?

I believe the most pressing issue for HHS students this year is online schooling. This is because students are not learning to their full capability when they are home doing schoolwork or even learning lessons.

What is important about this year/grade (i.e. freshman year, sophomore year, junior year, senior year), and what role do you believe class officers have in making it a successful one?

Freshman year is important because you are getting to find new friends and experiencing new things that are most likely new to you. The role I think that class officers have in making it a successful one is keeping everyone happy and making it fun to go to school.

What are some of the strengths of the HHS student community?

Some strengths that the HHS student community have are unity and sportsmanship. Unity is a big one because all 4 grades combine and you can see that there is no segregation between any 2 of them. Sportsmanship is a grand strength to us. I have never seen any disrespectful behavior towards teammates, or the opposing team.

What are some areas of the HHS experience that could be better?

Some areas of HHS experience that could be better is increasing our school spirit. Spirit weeks need to be the best ever. The whole school needs to participate to show how much we love our school and district.

One question you should have asked me, but didn’t is “What would I do as freshman class secretary?” What I would do as class secretary is keep detailed notes, bring new and fun ideas to the table, and make sure that the student body is happy and excited to come to school/have a great school year. ‘
