Mrs. Katie Stella is a first year English teacher here at Hammonton High School. Stella went to Stockton which she obtained a degree in Literature, contemporary theater, and secondary education.

1. What led you to become a teacher? How did you end up at HHS?

I had amazing teachers in middle school and high school. Loved talking about books. I ended up at HHS because on my way to Stockton, I would drive by HHS every day, so I applied.

2. Most difficult thing about your job?

How much planning time goes into the work with so little time.

3.  Your favorite thing about Hammonton?

The people who work here are nice people.

4. What is your favorite sport? And why?

Football because in a way it is theatrical.

5. One thing most people don’t know about you?

I have a degree in theater.

6. When I am not teaching you can find me… at home reading with my cat and boyfriend.

7. If you could have one superpower, what would it be and why?

Teleportation

8. Biggest Pet peeve?

Being late

No. It was nice while it lasted!
