Time To Get Outside

Time+To+Get+Outside

With Spring and Summer around the corner and the weather getting nicer, it’s finally time to get outside and enjoy some fun activities. After being stuck inside our houses for almost a year now it’s been hard to get out and do fun things. There are so many local outdoor things students can do nearing the warm weather soon to come. Below is a list of some fun outdoor things anyone can do, of course following covid-19 guidelines:

Mini Golf / Golfing :
There are many outdoor golfing places locally that a lot of students could take up.
Top Golf in Mount Laurel, Jersey Devil Golf in Hammonton, Pleasant Valley Golf in Voorhees Township, and a whole bunch of places down the shore, are all places open to outdoor golfing and fun.

Hiking / Walking :
Wharton State Forest (Atison) – The Largest State Forest in the single track of land within the New Jersey State Park system. There are two hiking trails located at this park, a blue and red trail. In addition to hiking, visitors can enjoy swimming in the summer months.
The Ocean City, NJ bridge is a great place to walk. The bridge is 2.5 miles each way. You can park on either side of the bridge or even in the middle of the bridge and eventually make your way back to the car.

Beaches / Boardwalks :
There are so many beaches anyone can go to especially during the summer.
Ocean City, Wildwood, Sea Isle, Margate, Atlantic City, and Seaside are all very popular South Jersey beach and vacation hot spots during the warm seasons.
The boardwalk, sand, ocean, food and amusements are all taken advantage of immensely. The boardwalk is also a great place to go on a walk, run, or even take a bike ride on.
