Android vs iPhone

Android+vs+iPhone

The cell phone: a clear example of how technology is changing everyday and evolving into a global phenomenon.

How do I know this? Check out all that they can do.

Cell phones are becoming more advanced even as I write this. The market seems to boil down to two models:  the iPhone and Android. And their owners passionately make the case that theirs is the best.

What do students in our hallways recommend?

“I would pick Android over iPhone any day. The iPhone might be more popular today, but Android is more to my liking,” said sophomore Austin Buehler. “I have the Galaxy S4, and it lets me personalize it to my liking. I will not switch over to I-Phone in the near future.”

Junior Alyssa Gubbei agrees.

“I would have to go with Android over I-Phone, because of the many options and features it allows me to do. I currently own the I-Phone 4, but I would like to switch over as soon as possible,” she said.

Sophomore John Paul McGrath believes that Android is the dominant phone in the debate.

“I honestly like Android better, because there are better features on the phone. For instance, there are apps that are directly linked to the phone. Frost Wire is one of my favorite apps to use. If there was a model of the iPhone that came out, and it was upgraded so it was better than the Android, I would consider switching to I-Phone.”

Students are not the only ones with opinions on which phone is better.

According to TV Media teacher Mr. Gary Joseph, the iPhone is the better choice.

“I would go with iPhone any day, because I am a Mac person,” he said.  “I also like the overall layout, and that they are user friendly. I would not switch to Android at all.”

He is not alone.  According to senior Cody Weido, the i-Phone is a lot better than Android.

“I would rather go with I-Phone than Android. I like having the options to make the phone how I want. I-Phones give me that ability. I would not switch over to the Android side.”
