Seniors Uncertain About Spring

Prom is still tentatively scheduled to be held on May 7th for a wonderful night outside

This year has been different for seniors, without the usual events and dances we have panned. To make the class of 2021’s last year of high school special, the annual events are still being planned in a COVID-safe way, outside. Unfortunately, the senior trip has been cancelled due to the complications that may arise with COVID. To partially make up for the loss of senior trip, new trips and events are organized. Senior class president, Madilyn Mortelliti reports, “As of right now we are planning an amazing outdoor prom. It’s location is extremely meaningful! We have some surprises planned that we do not want to reveal yet! Senior breakfast, Mr. Hammonton, and other senior events are planned to be outside. All of our senior events this year will have rain dates to allow us to celebrate our seniors while keeping everyone safe. This is going to be the most active half of a school year that students have ever experienced!”

Many fun ideas are still being discussed and put in place by the school board. Here is an update on senior events like prom, and senior breakfast, and what the last 4 months of this school year will hold for seniors.
