Senior AJ Ryker (#10) plays both sides of the ball at runningback and safety. He has started since his sophomore year and won a championship during his four years in high school.

Who got you into football?

Well originally i played soccer and my older brother wanted to play football because all of his friends played football my mom was so against letting him play but our friend John sour and Don Police took him to a practice one night and he fell in love with it i actually started playing football a year earlier than i was supposed to.

Tell me about your favorite year of football?

My favorite year of football is between my 8th grade year or my sophomore year but if i had to pick it is definitely my Sophomore year because we were the underdogs we were supposed to win 2 games that year and we ended up going all the way to the championship and winning it all.

What has football taught you?

Football taught me that there is always going to be someone there for you no matter what and they will always have your back through everything your teammates turn in to your family.

What is it like being a captain?

Being a captain is a big responsibility you have a lot of responsibilities you have to be a leader and pick your team up when they are down you have to be an example for the younger guys because

whatever you do they end up doing the same thing.

What do you like about football?

I like football because its the only sport where you can hit someone as hard as you can and get away with it i like football because of the relationships you make while playing it. Its just my thing
