There’s been numerous reports going around that star QB Deshuan Watson could be a Philadelphia Eagle sooner rather than later. Watson has been asking to be traded out of Houston for months now, but serious allegations against him put a hindrance to that idea. Another reason he hasn’t been traded is because the Texans front office just doesn’t want to lose a player of his caliber.

Dianna Russini of ESPN stated that the Eagles are “going to do something big before the start of the season to improve their roster”. Russini goes on to say that the Eagles are a team that could be in on QB Deshaun Watson. This is, of course, if his legal situation is resolved.

It seems like the Eagles organization does not believe in QB Jalen Hurts whatsoever.

They’ve proved that numerous times, with reports of them looking to draft a QB, bringing in two very solid backups, and now this. It’s a serious possibility that Watson ends up on the Eagles this summer, but the question is what would it cost to get him via trade? It’s all speculation right now, but between these reports and it being known that the organization doesn’t have faith in Hurts, I wouldn’t be surprised if Watson ends up an Eagle.
