My favorite victory is either when we beat St Joes my sophomore year or when my team and I won a perfect game championship.

When we lost to Cherry Hill West in the semi-finals my sophomore year because it taught me how close you and your teammates really become and how your team really gets to be like a family.

When you think about your career in soccer what is your most important takeaway?
I am excited for my future college career as an athlete. I play soccer because it’s fun. The most important takeaway is that soccer has taught me to be a leader as well as a team player. I believe these are qualities that can benefit me in many aspects of life

What victory has meant the most to you in soccer?
The small victories are the ones that mean the most. I will never forget the first goals I scored when transferring to different teams. I feel like this showed my ability as a player and allowed the team to accept me. This year I was awarded the 2020 NJGSCA All State Honoree and 2020 1st team CAL All Conference. This made me feel like all of my hard work was starting to pay off. I am extremely grateful for the coaches and players that pushed me to be a better version of myself.

What loss has taught you the most in soccer?
Having a concussion was the greatest loss that taught me the most. It enabled me to see that I LOVE soccer. Not being able to step foot on that field felt like an internal war. Knowing that something I loved so much could be taken away in an instant drove my passion for the game. For me, practicing and game day is consistently the highlight of every single day.

What is your favorite memory of playing soccer?
My favorite memory throughout my soccer career would be spending time with my teammates in the hotels at our overnight tournaments. We always have a good time whether it be from playing hide n go seek throughout the entire hotel or eating ice cream and watching movies the night before our game.

I look forward to having these same type of experiences with my new teammates at Goucher. I can’t wait to train and get in shape along with bonding with the girls.

How long have you been playing soccer?
I have been playing soccer for 10 years and over these 10 years I have learned so much.

When you think about your career in soccer what is your most important takeaway?
Throughout this time I have learned how to manage my time and how to balance school, friends, soccer and many other important aspects of my life. Soccer also made me realize that it’s up to you to better yourself. although a team sport every ball that gets by or goal that gets scored has forced me into the player I am today. It has taught me to be determined and never fear making a mistake.this is one of many lessons that I hold with such high regard to in my everyday life.

What victory has meant the most to you in soccer?
A highlight of my soccer career would be winning North Burlington when I played for Hammonton Heat. This victory showed my team and I that anything is possible. We later went on to win the championship that same year.

What loss has taught you the most in soccer?
With every great victory there is always a traumatic loss. Pre-Covid my current team Hamilton elite and I competed in an overnight tournament we made it all the way to the championship and lost. After receiving our second place medals I realized that it’s okay to fail now but work harder to succeed next time.
