Thirty seconds. That’s how quickly tickets to Sunday’s NFC Championship game at Lincoln Financial Field sold out. It is safe to say that Eagles fans are very excited to see The Birds take on the Minnesota Vikings at home this weekend.

The “Underdogs” as the Eagles have dubbed themselves, were the first NFL team in the current playoff format to be a No.1 seed and not be favored to win. The Atlanta Falcons were favorites to win by 2.5 points. They lost.

However, in spite of Nick Foles rising to the occasion, completing 23 of 30 pass attempts and throwing for 246 yards, The Eagles are still deemed to be underdogs. In none of the possible future matchups are The Eagles favored. Not one.

In this week’s matchup against the Vikings, The Eagles are home underdogs to the No.2 seed who is favored by 3.5 points. In a matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars, The Eagles are underdogs by a 2.5 spread. That spread expands all the way up to 7 points in a matchup against the New England Patriots and Tom Brady. But the question remains: What if?

The Eagles undoubtedly have the best fans in all of football. They are the most passionate, energetic, and rowdy group of fans in any sport. And they’re known for it. They are NOTORIOUS for it.When Eagles fans need to, they rise to the occasion. Eagles fans have shown their passion throughout the season. This fanbase has supported this team no matter what, and they have even taken over other teams stadiums, asserting The Eagle’s dominance.

This is what analysts fail to calculate. The passion of this team. The passion of the Fans. The hunger to win. The Eagles have been doubted all season. The playoffs are no different. The Eagles have been written off from the start, but now is their time. Their time to show the world what the “Underdogs” can do.
