Throughout his College and NBA career, Stephen Curry has been injury prone. Usually on his ankles that Curry has had numerous problems and two surgeries on, he now has a Grade 1 MCL Sprain on his right knee. The knee will be re-evaluated in two weeks to see if he is ready to go. This injury is coming off a right ankle problem which put him out the two previous games. Golden State now has to live without their star player for the fist two, potentially 3 rounds of the playoffs.

This is a major blow to his team, the Golden State Warriors, provided that he has been arguably the best player in the entire NBA this season. Leading the league with 30.1 PPG this season, setting an NBA All-Time record in 3 pointers made, and carrying the warriors to another NBA record 73 wins in the regular season, the team now has a gaping hole to fill. How the Warriors will respond to this injury for the next two weeks will be the biggest challenge of the reigning champions storied season. All-Stars Klay Thompson and Draymond Green will have to will the Warriors to get past the Houston Rockets and the winner of the Clippers and Trail Blazers first round series.
