The Return of D-Rose to the Chicago Bulls

People that follow the NBA have been questioning Derrick Rose’s decision to postpone his return to the following season even though he was medically cleared. There have been multiple jokes about him and some harsh comments.

The Bulls made the playoffs without him last year and put up a good fight with the future champion Miami Heat. Many people say he should’ve returned for the playoffs and they would have had a chance to win it all. So many questions will finally be answered this season.

The return of Derrick Rose has been much anticipated by Bulls fans around the nation, one of them being our president. President Obama sent out a tweet welcoming back Derrick Rose, “Welcome Back, @DRose. #BullsNation”. Suggesting the anticipation of even our President for what everyone was hoping would be a triumphant return.

In his return, Derrick Rose is shooting an awful 28% percent from the field and he is struggling mightily only averaging 14.3 points per game. He is also averaging 5.7 turnovers per game, while only averaging 4.3 assists per game.

When Pete Lancetta, an avid Bulls fan, was asked his opinion on his return he said, “I think Derrick Rose is having a rough start to the 2013-2014 season, especially in the first few games he looked a little shaky”. even Bulls fans, aren’t happy about the performance of Derrick Rose.

Bulls fans are hoping that for the sake of their team that Rose can elevate his game to level it was before, but u can’t see a title in the Bulls future this season. When Mike Angeline, basketball fan, was asked about their possibilities of a title he said “No because the Heat is too good”. Which is true the Bulls did lose to them in the first game of the season.

Bulls fans will have to wait patiently for the return of D-Rose to be his original MVP-like self. He can elevate his game; it will just take some time.
