Before coming into Hammonton High School as an English teacher, Mr Boyd went to Camden Catholic High School and graduated in 2003.  He then pursued his education at Rutgers, and graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in education.  He then went to start his education career and got hired at Hammonton High School in 2007.  He continues to teach here to this day as an English teacher, Student Council adviser, and Academic Team adviser.

I was inspired to go into education because… my mom ran after-school programs and I went with her.  This made me know i wanted to do something in a school.

The most memorable moment of my career was… becoming the Student Council adviser.

If I could pick anywhere to live, it would be… England. That would be cool.

If I won a million dollars, I would buy… a new house, a new car for me and my wife, and save the rest.

My favorite thing about my job is… getting to interact with all different people coming from different backgrounds.

My biggest fear is… something bad happening to my family.

When I’m not teaching you can find me… hanging out with my wife and daughter.

My favorite restaurant is… Capitol Grill.
