I was inspired to become a teacher because.. ever since I was a little girl, I would play “school” in the basement. I enjoy helping people and I always really loved math, so it was a good fit for me!
I chose to teach math because… I enjoy doing the work and it is almost as if it’s relaxing to me (I’m a nerd, I know). I like to try to show students that math isn’t as bad as they think it is!
My biggest pet peeve is… when people don’t use a blinker while driving.
My favorite thing about teaching is… meeting various types of students. It’s so interesting to see how different everyone can be and learning about their diverse backgrounds.
My favorite movie is… Saving Private Ryan.
My favorite TV show is… This is Us.
I’m scared of… spiders.
If I wasn’t a teacher I would be an… actuary.
