The Chess Club held its first tournament from October the November. Coordinated by senior member David Theuma and, 13 participants competed, including chemistry teacher Mr. Entress. In the final round, senior Kevin Lin faced junior Christian Parra Moreno. Parra Moreno won the top honor and first Chess Club tournament trophy. The Chess Club meets every Monday in Room 228 under the supervision of adviser Mrs. Celona.
