A Winter Dance is the talk of the school, as it quickly approaches on February 22. Initially announced in January, the original date was postponed because Student Council wanted more time to plan after waiting for administration’s approval.  

Senior Class President, Angelica Ortiz explained where the idea came from.

“The idea for a winter dance came from the fact that there is very little to do during the colder months,” she said. “A dance will give students something to look forward to, which is rare during this time of year.”

The theme is simply “Winter Wonderland.”

“We wanted something elegant and classic,” Ortiz said.

The dance will be held in Gym B. Tickets will be $10 and semi-formal attire.
