Ever since the lock down people have been trying to entertain themselves in many interesting ways. One of those ways has been multi colored LED light strips. These cheap lights have been very popular lately because of the beautiful colors that they have given off. People have made many designs with them top weather lining the edges of their rooms with them or creating images with them to even put them in their car.

For most teenagers that go to HHS that own them line their room up with them so that every corner of their room has an even amount of light distributed throughout their room

Cloud Design

I’m a personal fan of this one.

The cloud design creates an effect where the light is in a distorted shape which is very satisfying to look at night or day.

The effect is made when you put LED strips along your wall, but with no pattern and spread apart. apply either cotton balls or white wool to cover the lights. Set the lights to the smooth rotation mode and you will get a slow satisfying piece of art on your wall that will be less than $50.

Be careful that you don’t have anything that could make sparks or start a fire near this because it will catch and burn very quickly.

Light Show on The Road

Another piece of art that you could do is link the LED lights to your car and make your car light up the night. To do this and depending on the laws of your state you should start with the inside first because that will be the hardest part.

Start with cleaning the dust and dirt off the dash boards and seats. Then work from bottom to top first stitch the 2 longer light strips underneath the dashboard then stick the other two behind the driver’s and passenger’s seat then plug the wires in the power outlet. After that your floor should start lighting up. Then move on to the controls starting with the gauges, those are the hardest, so its best to get them out of the way first. Carefully line the thin strips along the edges of the gauge container and make sure you don’t pull too hard on the strip. Then work your way throughout the rest of the controls, again obeying all laws that occupy your state. Line the radio and the vents and lastly your speakers. Connect those with the other wires and your car should be lit up on the inside.

Now its time for the outside, this will be much more simple than the inside. All you have to do is line the wheels up with the specialized hubcaps and line the 2 long strips between each set of tires.

There you go sadly you will eventually have to change the batteries for these ones, but once you finish it will be a light show on the road that would at least round up to $80

Simple Never Hurts

Not everyone is a van go type of artist, some people are just pretty lazy, or they are looking for a quick and effective way to light up your world.

The way to do this is by purchasing cheap multicolored light bulbs or the more expensive smart home bulbs that you could connect to your phone. The process is simple: just change all the lights in your house with these lights and depending on the type of bulb either set them up manually or with your phone and you’re done.

Just make sure you don’t drop any of the light bulbs whale you are changing them out and use proper safety equipment while doing so.

All in all, these light designs and more can light up your night and make an ordinary covid night to your own personal light show that you can watch every night.
