The Life of Pablo- Album Review

The+Life+of+Pablo-+Album+Review

The much anticipated album by Kanye West titled “The Life of Pablo” made waves in the music industry when it released this past weekend.

Kanye West had self-proclaimed this album to be the greatest album of our lifetime, using twitter as his way of telling his fans how great this album would be.

After thoroughly listening to this album of 18 tracks, he isn’t too far off. TLOP brings a new element to the hip-hop culture with a religious tone in most of the songs. He claimed it “is actually is a gospel album.”

The album embodies everything about Kanye. From the new religious perspective in “Ultra Light Beam” and “Lowlights,” “, to the classic Kanye tones that come out in “Famous,” “I Love Kanye,” “Waves,” “Real Friends,” and “No More Parties in LA.” This extremely well-rounded album is great for every mood.

My favorite 3 tracks on this album personally would be Famous, Ultra Light Beam, and Fade. Famous embodies the deadly combo between Rhianna and Yeezy. Ultra Light Beam is the best song on this album in my opinion and will leave you speechless. Fade is a great ending to this work, because it gives the entire tone of the album a great closing.
