Fantasy Football: Your Week 15 Starting Line-Up

Fantasy Football: Your Week 15 Starting Line-Up

Now that week 14 is in the books for fantasy we are now on to the next round of the playoffs for many leagues and on to the next week in the NFL. This ranks the top 5 quarterbacks to start, the top 5 running backs to start, and the top 5 wide receivers to start this week.

Quaterbacks-

1. Andrew Luck-  We start off with the Colts quarterback Andrew Luck.He is having an MVP like season and is having a great year. He is coming off a 33 point game against the Browns ( who gives up an average of 13.2 fantasy points per week to quarterbacks) and a game winning drive. He is the highest scoring player in fantasy football this year and puts up about 31 fantasy points per game. This week he plays the Houston Texans and the last time he played them he dropped 33 fantasy points. You can expect another big week out of Luck.

2.Aaron Rodgers- Aaron Rodgers (who many think is the MVP of the season) is coming off a huge game Monday night where he torched the Falcons for three touchdowns including a 60 yard touchdown to Jordy Nelson. Aaron Rodgers is the third best fantasy player this year and is someone you have to start week in and week out. Rodgers goes up against the Bills this week. You can expect another 22 or more fantasy points this week.

3.Peyton Manning- If you have Peyton Manning and are still in the playoffs I am highly surprised but, congragulations to you. He put up only 5….. 5 fantasy points for a guy that puts up 26 points a week on average. You can expect Peyton to have a bounce back week and lead your team to a win. He plays the San Diego Chargers this week. He dropped 27 points week 8 and you can expect another game like that.

4.Ben Roethlisberger – Big Ben is having a fantastic year this season, being the 4th best fantasy football player. Ben has been on a role lately dropping back to back 30+ point games. He has been a legitimate start every week and is a must start against a bad Atlanta defense  that Rodgers lit up on monday. You can expect a huge game from Ben.

5. Tom Brady-  Tom Brady started the season off not to good but, since the chiefs blew the Patriots out in week 4 Brady has been on a roll. Since then he has only had 2 games with less then 25 points.

Running Backs-

1. Le’Veon Bell- Le’Veon Bell is coming off 3 straight 30+ point weeks and 2 straight 200 total yard weeks. He has been the second best running back in fantasy football this year only behind the Cowboys running back Demarco Murray. He is going up against the Falcons who give up the most points to running backs this season. Le’Veon is almost guaranteed another huge game this week.

2. Jamaal Charles-  Jamaal Charles and the Chiefs play their division rivals the Oakland Raiders this week for the second time this season. Their first encounter Jamaal Charles scored 18.20 points against them. You can expect another big game like that out of Charles since the Raiders give up the 5th most fantasy points to running backs.

3. LeSean McCoy- If you have “Shady” McCoy this season, you know his whole year has been up and down. He’ll score 20 points one game and then the next he will put up 5. That’s what happened the past two weeks for LeSean. He put up 24 points against the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving but, the next week he put up 5 against the Seattle Seahawks. Dallas on Thanksgiving simply couldn’t stop “Shady”. He went off for 159 total yards and a touchdown. LeSean will be able to destroy Dallas’s defense again and lead the Eagles to a win this week.

4. Matt Forte- Matt Forte is having a tremendous season for the struggling Chicago Bears. If you have him in a PPR (Points Per Reception) league, you know he puts up 20 points every week. He leads all running backs in receptions. He is 4th in the whole league with 84 catches. He could crack 100 receptions this season and be the first running back to have 100 catches since LT in 2003 for the Chargers. He is playing the Saints who have the 4th worst rush defense in the league.

5. Arian Foster- If you had to name one of the biggest steals in fantasy football this season Arian Foster would have to be one of them. He was mostly drafted in 2nd and 3rd rounds of leagues. He is a top 5 back this season and is playing like he was before he got injured. He is playing out of his mind this season especially in PPR leagues and is expected to tear it up again this week against the Colts who he torched for 30 fantasy points week .

Wide Receivers-

1. T.Y Hilton- The Indianapolis Colts play the Houston Texans this week and that gives T.Y another week to light up the Texans secondary again. The last time he played them was week 6 and he put up 30 points. He had 233 yards and 1 touchdown. He is 3rd in receiving yards this year, has 78 catches, and also has 7 touchdowns. Expect a big game out of Hilton again this week.

2. Calvin Johnson- Megatron is back! Ever since he came back from his injury that sidelined him for many weeks, he has been unstoppable. He had a great game on Thanksgiving and has been on a roll ever since. He looks like that un-coverable receiver he was. He has had back to back games with 8+ catches and over 120 yards in each game.He has been putting up big numbers and sunday he should have another big game against the struggling Minnesota defense.

3.  Antonio Brown-  Antonio Brown is having the best year of his career and may be the best receiver this year. He has done nothing but put up 20 points every single week. He is a defenses’s nightmare. He leads the NFL in receptions with 105, is 2nd in yards with 1,375 yards, and is 3rd in touchdowns with 11. He is Roethlisberger’s favorite target in any situation. Antonio Brown has had at least 5 catches in every single game and has had at least 7 catches in the past 8 games.

4.  Demaryius Thomas- Demaryius Thomas is another elite receiver in the NFL. He puts up at least 97 yards a game and has over 90 catches this season. Demaryius is Peyton Manning’s favorite receiver to throw the ball too this year and has 10 touchdowns this year.  He is by far the best receiver on the Broncos this year.  The last time the Broncos played the Chargers Thomas had 8 catches for 105 yards and will most likely have another game just like that this week.

5. Julio Jones-  If you had to rank the top 2 receivers this year Julio Jones is definitely either the best or the second best wide out this year. He leads the league in receiving yards with 1,428 yards and has 93 catches this year with 6 touchdowns.  He is a matchup nightmare and is playing the Detroit Lions who have a great defense this year. I believe that Julio will be able to light up the Lion’s secondary and expose them for who they really are he gets 109.8 yards a game and you can expect another game with that many yards again.
